“Do NOT STAY”
Nothing good at all, everything that should not be there was filthy, dirty, and electrically dangerous.

We expected a “holiday in the hometown museum” based on the reviews, so we were a bit disappointed by how plain and homey it felt—yet surprisingly we ended up liking it. The place was clean, and the room was by far the largest on our Island trips, with plenty of space, many windows, a view of greenery and horses. The shared bath and toilet area were tidy, the kitchen felt cramped but was fine for the unbeatable price.

We were lucky to get a very large room, the place is quiet, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms aren’t new but are very clean.

The location was good. The building felt very cold and dirty, the water was cold, and the staff was completely absent. When we arrived, the upstairs lost power; we tried to reach the staff by phone using the number they gave us and via the booking platform, but never got a reply.

It was cheap. The room you get makes a big difference, as the rooms vary considerably. There was no hot water at all. The entrance is very awkwardly placed: you practically walk straight into the dining table. There was a broken windowpane and a space heater that appeared to be unsafe. (broken cables)
