The place was a mess, and the owner started bothering us to leave at 10 am. I showed him the booking contract, which said we could check out by 13, but he just wouldn't budge. He basically told me it's up to the hotel to decide between 7 and 13, and I was like, "You said 12, my dude." It took ages to sort out - we lost hours of our vacation just arguing, but thanks to booking for stepping in and giving us some compensation.
