“Nie wieder LGO!! das war eine absolute Frechheit!”

The exterior view of the hotel and its location were fine. The hotel was an absolute catastrophe; I expected to find hotels with a certain quality standard from the platform. When we arrived, someone had left a mess in the sink—thanks for that! Then a quarter roll of toilet paper for 2 people for 2 nights? After a 5‑hour trip, we had to go to the supermarket! The carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed, as we could still see what the previous tenant had eaten. Dead smashed mosquito remains on the walls, spider webs on the ceiling, dust on the black furniture surfaces, and nothing behind the TV to look at! By the way, the remote batteries were all missing! Spiky seams in the bathroom and an absolutely disgusting toothbrush cup (which we also had to get from the supermarket). The crowning moment was a ~25 cm long bloodstain in the duvet, enough to make me vomit! I stay in hotels for work often, but I've never experienced this before. I'll probably book directly next time.

“Zweckmäßiges Hotel mit gutem Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis”

The room access worked smoothly with the code that was sent to me. It sits on the edge of Lemgo, but the city bus runs regularly during the day. I could park my car right outside the door and there were several charging stations available. The bathroom cleaning was apparently forgotten, yet I could reach the staff by phone and the cleaning was done immediately.

“Zum Übernachten nahe Lemgo eine gute Wahl !”

Everything was fine, as I've mentioned before. The location, however, is not great. Buses to the city center are reachable, but the stop is relatively far.

Check‑in was straightforward. There were too few parking spaces, no proper desk or similar, and the toilet paper was insufficient.

“Für uns nicht wieder!”

It was a complete letdown, not only in my room but also with the colleagues. The room was unclean—crumbs and dust flakes, spider webs, stains on the sheets, hair in the drain… It could happen, but when I was promised a fix for the next day and nothing happened, it was a no‑go. I felt less like a customer and more like a paying thing.
