“Un endroit magique au coeur de Jatiluwih !”

It was my first visit to Jatiluwih and the place felt magical—authentic, full of character, with great views and décor, a true Balinese farm that was a beautiful haven. I had a hard time finding the property with my driver, but once there it felt like paradise. Agus and his sister were lovely and welcomed me warmly; I stayed only one night but it was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious and unforgettable! We exchanged stories and Agus took me and his friendly driver to Ubud after a visit to the rice terraces. I keep a wonderful memory of this stop and recommend the place at 300%. Thank you for my wonderful stay, I adored the farm and hope to return. “A very special place, it’s the people who make it unforgettable”

Duegoal Farmhouse is a bit isolated, the accommodation itself is simple, but that is far outweighed by the stunning surroundings and, above all, the incredible warmth of the family who run it. You literally stay surrounded by rice fields, with beautiful views and a garden where they grow their own fruit and vegetables. You can feel how much love and care goes into everything they do. We had originally planned to go out for dinner, but quickly discovered there weren’t really any restaurants nearby. May, the sister of the owner Adi, offered to help us. She went out to get ingredients and started cooking for us. We asked if we could join her, and it spontaneously turned into our own little cooking class. It became one of our favourite evenings in Bali and honestly, one of the best meals we had during our entire trip. It’s not a luxury stay, and you shouldn’t come here expecting that. Come for the location, the rice fields, the food, the authenticity and especially the wonderful people. The warmth and love this family puts into their farmhouse is reason enough to come back. For the price, this place is an absolute gem. ❤️
