The location was good, yet the experience was utterly disappointing and far below a 3‑star standard. As someone who works at a 5‑star reception, I’m shocked that this place is rated 3 stars; the quality offered here is nowhere near what a guest should expect. The biggest problem was the complete absence of a telephone in the room, which feels unsafe for an international guest—if you fall, get ill, or need urgent help, you can’t contact reception. It was even worse when the elevator was out of service; we were told it was being repaired but no one explained how we should leave our rooms, so we were stuck for hours with no way to call for help because there was no phone. This is unacceptable. The staff’s rigid and unhelpful attitude during check‑in was another issue: even though we had been at the hotel since about 12:00, they refused to check us in 10–15 minutes before the official time of 14:45, even though the room should have been ready. Rules are rules, but good hospitality also requires common sense and flexibility. Things got even more absurd when we had two separate reservations for different room standards; the hotel didn’t help us move our luggage from one room to another after check‑out, despite having three staff at reception. This level of service is not what you expect from a hotel. The washing machine was another nightmare.
