“Seems abandoned”
The man who checked us in was very attentive. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in; the entire front of the hotel was closed off and you had to travel to the back, which felt sketchy. Only one person was there all day. There was no window on the second floor. The room was full of dust as if nobody had been there in years or the cleaners just didn’t know how to clean. The water was brown and you had to leave it running for 10 minutes before it was usable. He had no extra towels or blankets to give to our group. It smelled really bad when we got in, and he said it was because the AC hadn’t been used in a while—something that should have been obvious. It was upsetting because if the management had been better and the staff more attentive, the hotel could have been beautiful.
