This place feels like a quiet sanctuary – everything from the spacious suite to the living‑room vibe, jacuzzi, sauna and super comfy bed screams relaxation. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with fresh fruit, good bread and the most delicious Brie I’ve tasted. The garden view is private and lovely, and getting onto the highways for Ghent, Brussels or Antwerp is a breeze. We really couldn’t find anything to complain about.

The garden outbuilding is really charming and gave me a bunch of ideas I can try at home, plus the breakfast was tasty. The only downside was that it sits a little too close to the owners’ private house, which felt a bit intrusive at times. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor privacy quirks.
