The restaurant staff were very friendly and everything we ate at the restaurant was good. The location is within walking distance to a grocery store and St. Lawrence Gap. It seemed a bit inflexible and monitored guest activity with strict rules compared to other accommodations, for example no guests allowed in rooms. Also the damage deposit paid at check‑in was said to be returned in USD, but at check‑out it appeared to be an issue and was returned in Barbadian currency.

I loved the Bajan Fish Cakes. It was a little odd to get an omelet without toast. The 24‑hour front desk service was spot on. The pool maintenance was also top tier.

The location was stunning, everything was exactly where you need it, the tranquility and refreshing environment were perfect, the pool was remarkable, clean, and exquisite, the professionalism was astounding, the food was so good you’ll be thinking about it for days, the staff were keen and proactive, making you feel like you’re in a luxury hotel, and their attention to detail is rare even at larger resorts – you have to visit Melbourne Inn when you land in Barbados.
