The host served homemade jams, cheeses and eggs from her own farm – the scrambled eggs were especially tasty. The staff are friendly and easy to deal with. Getting to the village of Fulpmes is a short walk, and the balcony view is stunning. The beds are comfy but a bit low, so if you’re used to higher mattresses you’ll need to adjust to the shallow bed height.

Schottenhof is just a stone's throw from Fulpmes town centre and the Schlick 2000 cable car – walk or bus, no problem. The free Stubai Super Card they hand out lets you hop on any transport to Innsbruck, catch the lifts, snag discounts and more – a real bonus. Surrounded by nature, the place even has a farmyard full of pigs, cows, donkeys, chickens, a dog and a cat. My room was roomy, with a little living area and a balcony.

The room’s décor is simple but charming, and the view of the valley and mountains is breathtaking.

The apartment is spacious and comes with a fully equipped kitchen – fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, plenty of dishes and pots. The rooms offer great mountain views. Mrs. Sylwia is very attentive and cares about guests’ comfort; the rooms stay clean and there’s parking right at the entrance.

Everything about the stay was perfect: quiet, comfy beds, a large clean room with a modern bathroom, and a friendly, helpful host. The breakfast was great, and the location was spot‑on.
