I got booked into a hostel that turned out to be shut down by the police, and the booking service never warned me or refunded my money—what a disappointment.

I arrived at 11:20pm on June 25 expecting a room after a long flight, only to discover the hostel had been closed and I was left stranded; no notification came, and I had to spend almost $400 on the spot and then another $400 for a hotel at 2am—unacceptable.
