The surroundings were stunning, secluded yet close to Aix en Provence and the TGV station. Philippe welcomed us before the official time, letting us enjoy the gardens and the afternoon calm. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat, and chatting with other guests was very enriching. Special thanks to Tango for his gentle hospitality ☺️. No complaints; it was a fantastic weekend.

The hosts were friendly, the house beautiful and strategically located for exploring the area. The garden breakfast was excellent. I would definitely return. The only downside was the unusable pool.

The location and accommodation felt like a perfect old‑movie setting, and the owners were super friendly, giving a warm welcome, even from the dog Tango! Because it was so hot during our stay and there was no air‑conditioning, the room was quite warm, making sleep difficult. The bathroom was very basic. These are small points that fit the authentic vibe of the place.

The estate with its large park, pool, the friendliness and welcome of the hosts, and their dog Tango. Their valuable little tips about the area (restaurants, market, …). The spacious room stayed cool even during the heatwave by just opening the windows. The hearty breakfast served on the garden terrace. The little organic shop “les saveurs de Valabre” at the foot of the estate. Access to a shared fridge. Finally a perfect spot strategically between sea and mountains. Nothing to complain about.

We adored staying at La Feraude! Philip greeted us at check‑in with fresh juice and great local suggestions. The beds were comfy, rooms roomy, the bathroom spotless, and the property itself was truly gorgeous—it felt like a fairy tale. Waking up each morning to fresh breakfast outside was lovely, and the pool helped us stay cool in the midday heat. The house dog is adorable, but if you’re scared of dogs, know that he will approach you and try to play. There’s no AC, so it can get very hot in summer, though a fan was supplied in our room. That didn’t bother us, but the property is about a 15‑minute drive from Aix En Provence, so a car is needed to get around.
