It was close to everything, but the pool was very small, the rooms weren't like the photos posted on Booking, they gave me a room on the 4th floor with no elevator, sodas and beers are in the fridge but if you touch them you’re charged an absurd price; I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one day.

The spot of the hotel was the biggest win for us, as our apartment had a beach view. The apartment is well done even for longer stays, with a fully equipped kitchen, private parking guarded at night, and the staff were super friendly. However, the AC at 16 degrees didn’t actually cool, and the room fan was too noisy. On arrival the apartment didn’t smell great; a freshener would have helped. In the kitchen I’d add a microwave to heat things quickly and keep things clean.

Being right in front of the top beach restaurants in Boca Chica was perfect, and the staff were attentive, especially the night‑shift bar lady who was very pleasant and friendly. I ran into trouble paying with my card and eventually had to do a bank transfer, and the housekeeping only cleaned the room when I asked the front desk.
