We were greeted by the owner, Rogério, who was extremely attentive, polite, and welcoming. With great friendliness, he showed us the entire property and our room, making the stay very pleasant. He knows the area well and is a fantastic guide for the best sights in Lavras Novas and Ouro Preto, offering invaluable tips and wisdom beyond just tourism. The breakfast deserves special mention: everything was lovingly prepared with fresh, high‑quality ingredients. And kudos to Hudson for the delicious banana cake—it was simply amazing! This experience will definitely stay in our memories. Thanks to the whole team for their care, attention, and hospitality! 👏 The only point for improvement is the bathroom in the suite, which is a bit cramped and can only accommodate one person at a time, but this does not diminish the overall positive experience we had.

The décor is pretty cute, but there’s no hair dryer and the bathroom light is quite weak when you shower.

Our stay at Hospedaria Flor de Trovão was absolutely wonderful! Rogério and Hudson welcomed us with great friendliness and care, making a real difference. The accommodation is comfortable, spacious, and very cozy. Breakfast is amazing, prepared with great attention to detail and deliciousness. The place itself is beautiful, calm, and perfect for relaxing. We’ll definitely come back and recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, and hospitable environment.
