The spot is nicely located and the surroundings are pleasant; the room isn’t cramped. I can’t judge the service because there was none—no staff or even a robot from check‑in to check‑out. What struck me most was the 50 EUR charge for a supposed defect in the room; they treated it as if we caused it, yet offered no proof.

The area, the room, the ability to grab drinks from a well‑stocked fridge, and the breakfast were all good. There was no staff present, only a reception desk that was occupied when we left. There was no internal path to the restaurant.

The staff were friendly. One room hadn’t been cleaned when we checked in, so they provided a replacement room.

Even after more than four weeks I still haven’t received an invoice, which makes settling a business trip impossible.

It’s an ideal starting point for hikes, with a great atmosphere thanks to its proximity to the monastery, and the place is clean. The room had a slightly musty smell, and on weekends it was hard to find any staff.
