The reception was very warm and friendly, and the place was quiet during the 23‑07 period; everything needed was available at a reasonable price. In the morning, a slightly longer quiet period until about 08:00 would have been nice.

The staff and the location were great, but there were a few toilets, so if the hostel gets busy it can feel a bit tight.

Great location, nice staff, and a comfortable hostel. The single‑person room was nice, and the view of the street fed the writer’s imagination.

The hostel sits in a historic building in the city centre, and next door is the Swedish Free Masons Lodge—I've never seen a free mason on the stairs before! Considering the price of a dorm room bed, my experience was quite bland. I arrived late on a Friday evening expecting some activity at the hostel, but it was bare and devoid of life—though maybe I arrived too late, who knows? The bathrooms are small and few compared to the number of beds. I can imagine that maintaining such a building is costly (and maybe that’s why you don’t get a five‑WC bathroom behind every other door!), but for 50 € a night I expected something better.
