The staff made us feel truly cared for, going the extra mile to safely store our bikes and greet us warmly; they were friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was excellent, the room comfortable, and the common areas were clean and kept warm and dry. The view was unbeatable, and the hotel is just a minute's walk from restaurants and grocery stores. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel is a fabulous gem right on the harbour front. We stayed to escape the weather while car‑camping in Mull & Arran before heading to D&G. They let us use their washer and dryer for our laundry at no extra cost—thanks! The garden could use a bit more care, but otherwise everything was fine.

The harbour location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. The public bar on Friday nights was busy, loud, and still friendly, and the lobster‑themed bedsheets and wallpaper are everywhere. The room is small but tidy. We would return without hesitation. The décor feels a bit tired, but the current owners are clearly making nice improvements.
