The Craster Arms Hotel in Beadnell

The hotel was really nice. The staff were very friendly and the service was first‑class, especially the lovely Polish lady who served breakfast. The restaurant food was good with plenty of choices. Every time we returned to our room, the door at the outside entrance was not latched, allowing anyone to enter the rooms.

“Good location and place to stay.”

Everything went smoothly and the room was excellent. Edyta greeted us warmly at breakfast. The village itself is great, and everyone we met there is very welcoming, making the stay pleasant. The restaurant served us something not on the evening menu. Parking was plentiful. The only downside was that the breakfast could be improved; it was mostly cooked items and the rest was a bit sparse.

The hotel was busy and conveniently located near many attractions. The sleeping area was quiet, clean, and comfortable, offering great value. The seafood was excellent, but I was a bit disappointed by the Beadnell sausage dish.

“Vary comfortable, good value for money stay.”

We skipped breakfast but enjoyed an excellent evening meal. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the room was spacious. The only issue was that the small tables were too few; the side of the armchairs would have been useful for placing drinks.

The Polish lady who served breakfast each morning was fantastic—helpful and chatty. I wish I’d remembered her name. During check‑out before breakfast, the bar staff didn’t know what to do with our keys because the pub was closed, so we left the key in the room.
