The beds were comfortable once the sheets were changed, and the location was good, close to the night bus stop from Ha Giang, which was convenient. However, they claim you can pay by card and then say the card reader has no battery, so you have to charge it… we almost missed the Halong Bay cruise. We ended up paying in cash, which was terrible, and we had booked this hotel because we thought we could pay by card. After checking out, they sent an email saying the hotel cancelled the reservation, which is false because we had already spent the night there and Booking replied. I still don’t know if they’ll charge me for the cancellation. When we arrived at the room at 3 a.m. from the night bus, there were no sheets or pillows. The front desk guy lifted the door and, after a quick knock, tried to open it without waiting for us to open it. There was no complimentary water bottle, and they even charged us after all the trouble with the card reader. We chose this hotel because of its good rating on Booking. A fraud.

The place was clean and the staff were pleasant, but the beds were incredibly hard and slept terribly. Soap and towels were missing, and the shower had a strange setup that got everything wet.
