We were just a stone's throw from a farm where we attended a wedding celebration. The cleaning staff opened the room while we were inside. They’re supposed to wait until a good while after check‑in before entering.

The garden was lovely. The restaurant was closed.

The hotel sits close to the motorway, which is convenient for a quick stop. However, the floor in the room was not clean!

The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms are excellent and clean, the grounds are nicely landscaped, and there are parking spaces right in front of the hotel. The location is too far from the city centre; the public transport ride takes almost two hours. The price of 110 € for a night is too high.

The décor is very vintage. The sink was only at a good height for a 5‑year‑old child. Employees at the counter have poor English and are very dry. A smile might be a 100 € per day option. No explanation was given about the “restaurant” 50 m away, which is also the breakfast spot; it’s not part of the hotel and you can’t get an invoice. A simple explanation from the hotel at arrival would be useful. Breakfast itself is “okayish”; it tastes good but there aren’t many options, and they bring tortillas (eggs) or cake (both very good when you happen to get one) at random times but often very late. So if you have to leave before 8:30 am (what most clients do because they’re here for work) you’re left with just a slice of bread and a pastry.
