We were greeted warmly and appreciated that we could eat on site; the terrace was nice in summer but now too cold. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to Rapunzel Castle, which was fun. We liked the tower and the drink on the terrace after dinner. The room was good and the breakfast was fine.

The hotel has a lot of charm, is wonderfully quiet near Trendelburg, and the breakfast was excellent—everything was tasty and fresh.

The location and quietness were great, but the steep stairs to the upper floor were a bit of a hassle.
