“idéal pour se reposer au calme en famille”
The tree‑lined park (centennial trees), the pool, the setting (a typical Bordeaux château), and especially the fact that the accommodation is truly fully equipped – there are dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent for the washing machine, charcoal for the barbecue, and a ironing table (often you only find the iron!) – all made our stay wonderful.
Garden and pool location. Cleanliness.
“Great clean and comfortable apartments just in 30 minutes for Bordeaux.”
Clean, comfortable, air‑conditioned, convenient location, everything you need is in the apartments. All is good.
“Un peu de gentillesse ne coûte rien”
Because we were forced to answer this question: the pool. The reception was unpleasant; Youssef refused to receive any of our three friends, even for a meal (even though we were the only tenants) unless money was paid. Access to the park and pool was also denied unless money was paid. How much were we willing to pay to host our friends? If we had wanted them to sleep with us in this small accommodation (extra sleeping space: possible but beware! – they told us it would be at the extra rate of the big nearby cottage!!!) We had crossed France to see our friends living in a nearby town, hoping to host them for a meal, spend about two hours by the pool, and maybe have a pajama party… all in three days… none of that happened. When we started discussing the fair price so we could sit with one mother and her two sons… around dinner… we found that mentality very sad, especially since two weeks earlier we had been welcomed so warmly in Lozère. In short, disappointed by the lack of understanding and especially the manager’s kindness. For the rest: nice pool, well‑equipped accommodation, abandoned park, many mosquitoes ++ and my son and daughter preferred to sleep downstairs the last night because they were legitimately afraid of getting bitten… (two nights with multiple bites and leg oedema on my son). A pretty estate, a bit old‑fashioned but a mercenary spirit that really bothered us. Youssef told us these are common practices in Gironde… help!!!
“Séjour très agréable!”
The owner is very friendly and generous! The pool is very pleasant, the estate is very quiet to promote rest. The place is very clean and very well equipped.
