The spot was great, the exterior was pretty and shaded, and you could cross the street from the hotel straight to the beach. The hotel had several restaurants nearby, not far from the room. The price seemed to include pets, but I wasn’t bringing my cat that day. Breakfast wasn’t offered, but they did give toast and Ovaltine coffee. In the morning a tuk‑tuk parked outside the hotel for 50 baht, and it tasted good. The bed was somewhat firm—enough to cause back pain after sleeping. The bathroom water was a reddish‑brown color, probably groundwater. The front staircase was slippery and I slipped once. The booking mentioned a table outside the front, but we only got one chair in front of our room, while other rooms had no outdoor tables. The room was very bright; when I turned off the lights, the outside lights were so bright that I woke up at odd times, thinking it was morning or noon.
