Everything was neat, tidy and clean, and there was a flower festival on Saturday that was great. The breakfast, however, was disappointing – a sausage platter was served without asking if you actually wanted it, and it was very lean; I only got one mini tomato for two and two slices of cucumber, which felt insufficient. Condensed milk had to be begged for, and overall the breakfast needs serious reconsideration.

The place is decorated with a lot of love, the hosts were always very helpful, and the village shop around the corner stocked everything one could wish for.

The historic house is wonderful, tastefully and comfortably furnished, and the location in the Swiss countryside is excellent. The owners are pleasant to communicate with and very accommodating.
