“Comfortable and relaxing place very close to the beach”

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, sharing local knowledge. The hammocks are amazing, and the roof view with hammocks and the ocean is top. It’s very close to the beach, markets, and the bus stop. The kitchen is well equipped, everything is very clean, and the shared area is mostly quiet and relaxing. All in all, a comfortable and relaxing place right by the beach – wonderful!

“Séjour au top chez Wally’s Housse”

Wally’s house is an excellent youth hostel that truly embodies the spirit of sharing and friendliness you expect from hostels. That’s thanks to Wally’s welcoming and hospitable nature; he’s super friendly and makes sure everyone feels at home. He also helped me book activities and transport, and overall he’s a fantastic person that fills the hostel with good vibes. The rooms are clean, all beds have mosquito nets, the kitchen is functional, and hammocks are available for relaxing in the common areas. The hostel is a 5‑minute walk from the beach and close to Máncora’s main street.

The service from the person in charge during my stay, Stanislava, was positive—she was very helpful, polite, and nice. The common areas are comfortable and the kitchen is good. The room I stayed in had issues with the outlets (many didn’t work), poor lighting, and a very worn mattress (sagging in the middle); the showers are also very bad.
