A top accommodation: central location—here you can walk up the Grünten. As a bonus, the Allgäu Walser Pass was free, giving discounts at nearby facilities, free rides on the so‑called Hörner trains and public transport. The house is beautifully furnished in a farmhouse style with lots of wood, very clean with a modern bathroom. Our holiday apartment was well equipped, spacious, and had a balcony. The kitchenette had everything needed, including a large fridge and dishwasher. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and varied, with eggs cooked fresh to order. Big thanks to the Rauch family for the warm welcome!

“Tolle Unterkunft, ideale Lage”

We rode mountain bikes, so the location was spot‑on for us; walking rounds were also great, surrounded by green meadows. Nearby villages were easy to reach, and the nature lake was close enough for a dip. There’s also a public pool in Burgberg, making it perfect for families with kids.

Nice apartment, varied breakfast, everything thoughtfully prepared and the landlords were very friendly. The spot is great—Lake and Illerdamm just around the corner, parking and bike storage available, and the beds are comfortable.
