“Una buena pausa”
The place is a great spot to relax, the facilities are very romantic and the various areas are lovely (pool, dining room, table beside the pool). I like the firm mattress (though some people might not).

The service from Mrs. Maria and the ladies in general is truly wonderful, helpful, and they were very attentive in assisting my elderly parents with whatever they needed; the setting is incredibly quiet, perfect for resting and recharging. At checkout it was hard to lift the suitcases—there was a main road and motorcycles blocking parking, so it wasn’t possible to move them easily; with older adults I didn’t want to force them to shuffle their bags, so I received some insults from a particular taxi driver, which isn’t a direct hotel fault but at least the hotel should have guaranteed a space to lean on and lift the suitcases without trouble.

I loved the comfort of the room; it was a wonderful rest. It’s central to the tourist area and the agencies for planning activities like quad biking and visiting the Versalles jump.

The peace, the staff’s attention, and the very tasty breakfasts are positives. The room I had chosen in the booking listing wasn’t given to me; internal issues forced us into two rooms, and another major issue was the pipe odor in the bathrooms, which seemed like a special problem with one room but persisted after we moved.

The facilities are great. It’s a beautiful colonial house that tells stories in its corners. Although the place feels very peaceful and is a small hotel, I would have expected a higher level of service. The staff (actually one or two people with shift changes) were not bad but very basic; they just receive you, handle check‑in and check‑out… they don’t guide you, aren’t helpful, and don’t make you feel warmly welcomed in Guaduas, which is ultimately their land. That’s a major point to improve.
