I was initially impressed with the hotel's great location and nice view from my room. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived, as I discovered that the fridge in my room reeked of durian and lacked basic amenities like cold water. To make matters worse, the onsite restaurants were ridiculously expensive, and I felt that the price I paid ($350 per night) did not justify the lack of welcome amenities.
“The hotel is aged but provides good service and a great location to explore the surrounding area”
I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel rooms, despite their age. The hotel's location in Kowloon is ideal for exploring the area and accessing the Hong Kong Island ferry terminal with ease. However, our initial room experience was marred by a strong smell of smoke in the hallway and a noisy air conditioning unit. Fortunately, the staff were helpful and promptly moved us to a different room the next morning, which turned out to be a great decision.
The hotel's location is one of its standout features - it's perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. I was able to easily access local attractions and amenities, making my stay very convenient.
