We felt right at home in the holiday apartment! The house sits a bit outside the town, at the end of a quiet side street on higher ground, giving a gorgeous view of the whole bay from the balcony. About five to six holiday apartments are in the building, and the upper balconies are nicely positioned, though only separated by a simple privacy screen. The two cats watching over the courtyard are especially sweet, and a highlight was spotting wild boars at night across the spacious grounds—a truly interesting and entertaining show! The animals were shy and vanished at the slightest noise. The kitchen is fully equipped, the furnishings a bit simple but typical for Italian standards. Coffee lovers should note the coffee machine requires special Bialetti capsules. A car is definitely recommended to reach the town’s many restaurants. The only real downside is the early 9 am check‑out. Overall a lovely place with a dream‑like view where we felt very comfortable.
