Central spot in Pakse, a 10‑15 minute walk to the Mekong River. Clean and comfortable room, a nice pool directly accessible from the room. Staff were very helpful in arranging trips around the area.

“Étape honorable a Paksé”

Unexpectedly good hotel (clean, pretty façade) in that corner of Pakse on the edge of a big road. Despite that it’s quite quiet and the rooms are well sound‑proofed and spacious. We were on the far back floor, very pleasant. There’s a small pool and vegetation. Scooter rentals are available 5 minutes from the hotel (turn right out, then just left at the corner). Friendly reception (front desk and breakfast). Pakse isn’t a very pretty or clean city but the surroundings are beautiful: lovely waterfalls, tea plantations, various temples, Champassak is super cute, so stopping in Pakse is really worth it! Nothing major, but the temperature in the lobby (air‑conditioning probably at 18°? a big thermal shock compared to outside) was a bit much, though the check‑in was quick. I also didn’t like the breakfast selection, served at the table directly (pad of buffet) according to a menu that wasn’t quite my taste… Finally the bathroom in our room was rather small with a weird electric water heater just above the shower that isn’t very intuitive to use.

The hotel is in town, which is great, but the room wasn't cleaned well.
