Booking confirmed and then the unaccomodating host asked me to cancel, she informed me that the venue is unavailable due to a miscommunication with her assistant. She suggested I call the venue directly to confirm availability before paying; however, this was not possible as contact details are only provided after payment is made. While the host initially agreed to refund me directly, she later directed me to request the refund instead. This double booking left me without a place to stay and unable to afford alternative accommodation on short notice.
