The restaurant staff and food were surprisingly good, but the hotel charged me an extra ¥6,000 for the extra guest when I arrived, even though the price shown was incorrect. I understand pricing errors happen, but it seemed unreasonable to make me pay for the hotel's mistake after the reservation was already accepted at the original price. If the hotel knew the correct pricing, they should have addressed the issue with me. I was put in the position of having to pay an unexpected additional charge at check‑in. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of any additional service. Even though I ultimately paid for two guests, I was given only one set of towels—just one bath towel. The room was very small, and there was no noticeable difference in the service provided despite being charged almost double. I honestly had to wonder what exactly I was paying the extra ¥6,000 for. The receptionist’s attitude also left a very poor impression. He was extremely cold and rude, and when explaining the “correct pricing,” he showed absolutely no apology or understanding for the inconvenience caused by the hotel’s own pricing issue. Overall, the additional charge was disappointing enough, but the way the hotel handled the situation and treated the guest made the experience considerably worse. I expected much better customer service.
