The air‑conditioner was ancient and visibly moldy, which made the room smell stale, and there was no staff on site—nothing at 4 pm for check‑in, nothing at 6 pm in the evening, and no one in the morning either. It felt like a remotely managed motel and was the worst place I’ve stayed at in three months in the USA.
