Crusoe's Retreat - Family Friendly

The staff were warm, helpful, fun, friendly, and happy to share their Fijian culture, making the place very relaxed and enjoyable. The breakfasts could use some improvement.

“I will not recommend anyone to stay here within my family cycle plus I did not appreciate at all the service provided by”

The beach and pool were nice. The arrival service was poor: I was told I could pay cash on arrival, yet my credit card was charged before I even got there. The rooms were very dirty; the ceiling fence was covered in dust and cobwebs. White ants swarmed the corners of the doors and windows, and there were countless bugs in the room.

The staff were awesome, warm, very friendly, and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower. Being on the waterfront was a highlight. We had arranged for the hotel to pick us up from the airport, but they forgot and ignored multiple attempts to contact them, so we had to take a taxi. Breakfast needed protein options like cheese, yogurt, or meats; the fruit was delicious. It felt very isolated with no nearby town or village for extra meal choices. I highly recommend renting a car.

The location is beautiful. The menu was limited, and for the prices the quality was mediocre.
