The room was superbly furnished with soothing colors that made us feel like we were in a cocoon, and the host was friendly and attentive. Nothing else to add.

Staying with Alain was fantastic; the room was comfortable, especially the bed that suited us perfectly. The décor was tasteful and the place spotless. Located right in Sancoins’ city centre, we could park for free nearby. We added breakfast to our stay and were not disappointed—Alain cooked a delicious spread of eggs, charcuterie, cheeses, jams, bread, and pastries. He was very caring and quick to reply to messages. We’ll return! The only drawback was the bathtub’s slight slope, but that’s the only issue.

The space, bed comfort, air‑conditioning, neat décor, warm welcome, and small touches like coffee and fruit were all great, and the centre‑town location was quiet (except on market day, probably). For older guests, the staircase can be a bit tough, and the shower is also challenging for taller people because it’s a tub without a shower curtain, making it hard to stand.
