“The Hotel needs a facelift inside and out!”

We stayed in Melkbosstrand as we wanted. The receptionist was not friendly at all. I asked Booking.om for the best rooms in a hotel in Melkbosstrand. Booking .com replied that the hotel was nearly full, only two rooms left. That evening, the TV didn’t work; a staff member finally came to help, took us to a Seaview room – open, that TV didn’t work, he took us to another Seaview room also empty and then he said the one next to that room is also empty, also with a Seaview. Not honest when it comes to room availability!!!!

“Very friendly and polite staff”

I stayed close to the beach, had secure undercover parking, and the place was clean. Nothing else to note.

“Comfortably numb!”

I was expecting a bit more from this hotel, especially considering its great location and basement parking. Unfortunately, the design and decor of the place are straight out of a bland, 90s time capsule. The TV channels are laughable, and don't even get me started on the state of the furniture and carpets. It's clear that the hotel needs a serious overhaul, starting with a deep clean of the bathrooms and a revamp of the decor.

The hotel's proximity to the beach is its only redeeming quality, but unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the numerous issues I encountered during my stay. The hotel seems to be lacking in many areas, including cleanliness and amenities.
