“Mi estancia fatal”
Breakfast wasn’t included. I didn’t like the place because of the awful price, loose tiles, poor air conditioning, lack of proper staff, rusty feathers and mixers, and other issues.

The person who runs the hostel is very friendly, cheerful, and helps with everything you need. Nothing to add.

The hotel I had originally booked through Concur didn’t exist, so I was taken in by Hotel Iberia just before midnight—exactly at 11:57 pm. I was on the third floor with 120 lbs of luggage, but the desk attendant carried the big suitcase up for me. The hotel reminded me of European hotels and I ended up getting a good night’s sleep. Everything was exactly what I needed; a good bed mattered more than an elevator.

The location is fantastic—close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and the supermarket next door, whose breakfast and lunch counter was excellent. Beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious, staff were helpful and nice, and the roof terrace had plenty of greenery. We left our suitcases in a dedicated luggage room after check‑out before the cruise, then returned in the afternoon. It’s a 10‑minute taxi ride from the airport and another 10 minutes to the cruise port, so the spot is perfect. The downside is there’s no lift, and hot water takes a while to start but is great once it does. Shower facilities could be better, but 1 or 2 nights before a cruise, this hotel is a solid choice.

Good location, close to a grocery store and the beach. The reception isn’t air‑conditioned, so it’s extremely hot in mid‑April. If you pay by credit card, an extra $2.50 US may be added to your bill—check carefully. The English is approximate. The room isn’t bad, but the air‑conditioning is noisy, the mattress is really uncomfortable, the bathroom is archaic, there’s no elevator, the toilet door needs adjustment and makes a hellish noise, and there aren’t many restaurant options nearby.
