Kamusta Boutique Hotel in Boracay was a real gem for my group of colleagues and me. The hotel's roadside location made it super easy to get around, especially for catching the sunrise at Bulabog Beach, which is just a short walk away. Our dorm-style room for five people was surprisingly comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the chill, welcoming vibe made it easy to unwind after a long day.

The only decent thing about this place was its proximity to the beach, but that's where it ends. The rooms are in a terrible state, with broken or poorly repaired furniture, thin windows, and old photos that make the place look like it's been stuck in time. For the price, it's the worst accommodation I've had during my Asian travels, and there are better options available for half the cost.

This place is a total disaster. The bathroom was disgusting, with mold everywhere and smelly towels. The curtains were stained, the ceiling was broken, and the bath curtains reeked of mildew. We could hear every conversation from the lobby, which was a major issue, and the new room we were transferred to had a balcony but was still plagued by traffic noise. To top it off, the sheets were uncleaned, the room was dusty, and it smelled terrible.

The hotel's location is pretty central, but the noise from the street can be a real issue. The staff were generally helpful, especially when I checked in late. The room itself was small but spotless, and the bed was comfy. The real problem was the shower - no hot water at all, which made it pretty hard to get clean. I was looking forward to a relaxing stay, but that just wasn't possible.

The hotel's proximity to the beach is a major plus, and the friendly staff only adds to the overall pleasant experience. However, the rooms could be a bit more practical, especially when it comes to drying off after a dip in the ocean - there just isn't a lot of space to hang wet clothes. Still, the cleanliness of the room and the helpful staff make up for this minor inconvenience, making it a decent choice for a beachside stay.
