Breakfast was good. The room had a strong odor, especially in the bathroom; water leaked from the ceiling in the shower and there were holes in the corner of the bathroom ceiling. We reported all this to front‑desk staff, who said they would not record it in the system for the manager to see.

Great location. The room needed updating; it had a strange odor and stains on the ceiling from leaks. Breakfast was very bare minimum—only one four‑sliced toaster and only one side worked.

The price was good during the Chicago marathon. The room smelled like cigarettes and mildew, had no screen on the window, the pool was tinted green and you couldn’t see the bottom, and the TV had horrible reception.

The jacuzzi was great. The bed made noise because the headboard was too close; someone had put a bar of soap and I had a bath towel, and the bed frame was spring‑laden.
