I liked the quiet spot and walking the dog around the area, with a pub and petrol station just a short walk for food and supplies, but the Wi‑Fi in my room was unreliable.

The place was lovely, the pub quirky with a nice garden, and the en‑suite was cleverly designed with quality fittings and a well‑done decor, though we weren’t told we could have food that night, so we ate elsewhere.

The bed was very comfortable, the linen first‑class, and the rural setting pleasant, but there was no cooked breakfast available.

The food at the pub was a true 10/10, the owners were easygoing and friendly, the garden beautiful, the room clean and lovingly furnished, yet there was some mold in the bathroom that made it look a bit grimy.
