“Great location, but pricey and under-equipped”
The spot was spot on for what we needed, and the front desk folks were genuinely friendly. But the price tag was a stretch for a basic motel, and getting a large car in was a hassle. The room came with just one roll of toilet paper, no hairdryer, and no shampoo—so you either improvise or hit up Woolworths. After 8 pm on a Saturday, I realized there was no hairdryer and had to scramble to get my hair dry before dinner.

The staff were super friendly and really understanding, which made the stay pleasant. The only downside was a smoking guest in the room next door.
The location is great, and parking is outside the room. There is no handy little kitchen sink to fill a kettle or a few bottles of bottled water to use in the kettle, and there are no cereal bowls or dessert spoons to eat breakfast with.

I was happy to find a place right next to a Subway, which made grabbing a quick bite a breeze.
