The pyramid view was wonderful. I also stayed at a hotel near the opposite gate, but the size of the pyramid was completely different. The breakfast was luxurious and delicious. I was using Google Maps and the location was wrong, so it was in front of the Great Egyptian Museum, so be careful when using Uber.

The view of the pyramids from the balcony is breathtaking. Early morning, dusk, taking food to go and eating while looking at the pyramids was very luxurious and a happy time. With breakfast included, having the room cook for us every morning was a good experience. The girl who cooked was also a very nice person. Owner Ahmed was kind and listened to our requests. The airport transfer and the one‑day private driver were very kind and wonderful, reliable people. The building is a local one and other travelers don’t see it, but the people you meet in the building are kind and you don’t have to be afraid. The local area where locals live is a mix of things and part of the local building is the hotel, so there is no hotel sign outside. You might be a little surprised when you arrive. There is an elevator, but it’s old, no inner doors, a bit scary. It may be difficult to find the place if you don’t use the hotel shuttle. There are no tourist signs, so you might feel uneasy at first. It’s for people who are used to traveling. There are many shops around where you can buy snacks, drinks, fruit, etc., but they charge tourist prices.

Excellent structure, apartment with two spotless bedrooms, the rooms are perfect, really large, and each has an ensuite bathroom. Living room with private balcony and incredible view. The owner and the contact – both speak Italian – were incredibly kind and available from the moment of booking, for every doubt and for possible organization of everything. Breakfast was super appreciated and on request, both in terms of timing and type. Thank you!

The location was excellent. Wonderful view and access to transportation. We had issues staying connected to the WiFi on phones and a laptop. Locating the property was an issue; it did not appear on maps or Uber. Even after flagging an Uber driver, he had difficulty locating the property. We finally got the live location and were able to get there safely.

The welcome was great. Ahmed arranged an abundant dinner in the room and in the following days he was a caring guest, giving us advice and arranging essential taxis to visit Cairo. The view of the pyramids is beautiful, even with fireworks! (The little shower for the bidet was especially appreciated.)
