The location was perfect for me, right next to the park and not far from the city centre. The building is old and the rooms feel dated; a few renovations would make a nice improvement.

Convenient spot, good breakfast, and the staff handled requests efficiently—like providing an extra quilt, sending the invoice as a PDF, and packing breakfast for me when I checked out before the morning service started. There weren’t enough electrical sockets in the bedroom, making it hard to work on a laptop while charging it, and the same issue applied to mobile phones.

I went back for a second stay after two years because the spot is unbeatable – everything from the park to the sea, the old town, the port and museums is within walking distance, and the staff are genuinely attentive. Unfortunately the building shows its age: cracked walls, damp spots with mold on the bathroom ceiling, a loose toilet flush lever and faded stair carpets make the place feel rundown, and the Wi‑Fi is spotty at best.
