The property is extremely beautiful and picturesque. Nothing worse than going to a quiet spot to escape noise, and at 6:45 a.m. I had to listen to loud music from speakers as I hit balls at the driving range. Seriously—why? What makes anyone think this is a good idea? You're assuming I want to hear Bryan Adams. I don’t… at all.

We brought our dog, and he got a doggie bag of treats when we checked in—a thoughtful gesture. The weather was a bit warmer than we expected.

Gorgeous, historic location with five‑star service and accommodations. Staff was exceptional from check‑in to golf, to the gift store(s) to the restaurant. I’ll definitely plan another trip before the year ends.

Food for breakfast and dinner was great! Love the cattle nearby and that the patio is on the golf course. Lovely!

The surroundings were gorgeous, with both natural and manicured gardens. Everyone who assisted us was friendly and professional. The facilities were well appointed without being ostentatious. The pools were great, though they were heated. The restaurant was perfectly positioned to watch the golf and the cows—so much fun! We’ll come back whenever the chance comes up. I’m not a fan of heated pools.
