I finally checked into the hotel after a tiring wait with four friends and four couples, and it felt like heaven—quiet, nice, and perfectly balanced; the other place was the complete opposite, a real disaster, and I’m glad I didn’t arrive earlier from that awful hotel with my group.

The room was tidy and comfortable, though small, and it was very quiet—no traffic noise from the nearby road; the town centre was within a short walk, making it a good stopover spot.

The room was clean, the kettle was available, and it stayed quiet and calm during our stay; we could eat lunch and dinner at the Indian restaurant, and the gentleman at reception was friendly. However, there was no breakfast on site—only from 10 am in the restaurant—and nearby options were not great; the TV in our room was very loud, and we couldn’t adjust the volume smoothly, which was exhausting.

The microwave, fridge, and kettle were very helpful for breakfast in the room, and the nearby Indian restaurant worked well for dinner; the private free parking behind the house was convenient. On the downside, they didn’t provide bath towels, the mattresses were uncomfortable with exposed springs, it was far from the centre, and we only saw the staff at arrival for the name, room, and parking—no further explanations.
