Hotel Portinari is situated in Bruges' centre, 750 metres from Market Square and the Belfry. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with minibars and flat-screen TVs, a terrace, and underground parking. A breakfast buffet and bar serving Belgian beers are available. The shopping district and Bruges Railway Station are a 10-minute walk away, with Ghent reachable in 35 minutes.

The accommodation itself met our expectations, yet we’re extremely disappointed with the hotel’s customer service. We accidentally left a bag with personal items and tried to contact the staff for its return through every channel—email, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Our WhatsApp messages were received but never answered, and we received no reply to our Instagram or email messages. All we wanted was help retrieving our belongings, but the hotel completely ignored our requests. To date, we have not received any response. This lack of communication and consideration for guests is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. A hotel should provide proper customer service not only during a stay but also when guests need assistance afterward. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with a very negative impression of Hotel Portinari.
