“Luxurious and pampered stay in the Herat of the historical French quarter.”
Lovely, bright, welcoming. Cool art displayed throughout the lobby, hallways and rooms. Reception, valet and housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and eager to make our stay enjoyable. Loved the welcome drink, turndown service, pastries and fruit delivered to our door each morning. Coffee in the lobby and complimentary bikes with wicker baskets. We’ll return! The room and bathrooms were a teeny bit small but very comfortable.
“Overall, good but the parking fee/hassle and the mustiness/damp smell in room would make us hesitate to stay aga”
The location was perfect. The decor was very funky and fun. The whole ambiance was charming. The staff were wonderful. The complimentary wine for my husband’s birthday was highly appreciated, as was the art tour. We were in room 316 and there was a musty mildew smell on that floor down the steps. The door to the shower/toilet did not close and all the paint was chipped off the bottom of the door. It needs to be fixed! And somehow the mildew smell needs to be addressed. We were going to ask for another room but honestly we’re too tired to move and had too many things to see and do to go through the extra hassle. Also, we did not realize we were going to have to pay another $100 on our hotel room bill for parking our car. Every time we needed something from the car, they had to go get it which was a hassle for us. Also, when they returned our car it was covered in bird poop! Not what you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. Honestly, paying extra for that hassle was the biggest disappointment.
Love the old brick on the walls in our room and how close the hotel is to so many restaurants, art galleries, shopping, etc
“Lovely. We would stay again”

“Convenient, Beautiful, excellent service”
