The hotel was in a quiet outskirts area of Retimno, surrounded by a nice park with a pleasant pool. The rooms, with air conditioning, TV, fridge, and safe, were spacious, but the bathroom wasn’t great. Breakfast was average. I noticed that sometimes the staff were not very attentive.

The hotel’s location, 10 minutes from the center of Rethymnon and with a private parking, was perfect for island visits. The staff were very friendly at reception and in the restaurant. The room was spacious, bedding comfortable, and there was a small terrace to dry clothes after the beach; the sheets were changed regularly and the room was cleaned daily. Continental breakfast was decent, enough to get through the day. The shower was impractical, too small, and water splashed everywhere. The fridge was broken, which was a shame in the summer heat. There were many mosquitoes, the TV was in German, and there was no dryer on the terrace for towels.

The pool was good. The area was quiet. The people were nice. The bus connection to Rethymnon city was quick and efficient. The breakfast was a bit weak. There was some dog droppings in the neighborhood at night.

The hotel is located outside Rethymno in the hills, reachable directly from the highway linking Rethymno to Chania. The exterior looks good with free parking. The lobby is a bit dated, but the room seems renovated, with a balcony overlooking a well‑kept garden. The only downside in the room is the lack of a kettle, which is always handy. Breakfast was good, with all the classic Cretan items. The value for money was solid. The kettle and mosquito net were missing.
