It was perfect! Everything was very close by!!
Very quiet, the staff were super friendly. The apartment could have been cleaned better, and the price was a bit high.

I was glad I could stay at the Parkhotel Valkenburg instead of the apartment! The many stairs, the cramped room, the dirty and broken carpet, the musty smell that started in the hallway below, the location right next to the cable car, and the shabby room made it tough. I ended up without a kitchen or living area because I was in a hotel room, which meant I spent more on food and drinks.

The spot from the city center was fantastic, even right next to the cable car, and almost everything was within walking distance. The room stayed surprisingly cool and pleasant despite the heat wave. The hotel staff were friendly when you had to pick up the key. The room had a strong smell of old water, and the floor covering wasn’t fresh, probably causing the odor. Matches were missing for the stove, the freezer was broken, and the clock was stopped. I reported all of this and everything was recorded; I even left matches for the next guest. We stayed in Valkenburg with temperatures hitting 36°C, yet the room remained cool and well insulated from outside noise.
