The receptionist was very friendly and let us check in early. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to Porto and has many nearby restaurants. They put a stained sheet on our bed; because it was under another sheet I didn’t complain right away, only noticed the next day, and we only stayed one night.

The location is good. The building is old with rooms that need renovation, few storage spots in the room… The bathroom has a dead vent, a bad smell from the toilet… Four days without air conditioning because it was broken… The blinds needed to be tied to the radiator to keep them up. The terrace has rusted railings everywhere.

The location is good. The air conditioner was not working, the hair dryer was broken, and the bins in the bathroom hadn’t been emptied by the previous guest. The staff were unavailable and uncooperative. Every day a new excuse for the air conditioner’s failure.

The location is good. The air conditioning didn’t work, making my stay a nightmare with heat and mosquitoes; we practically didn’t sleep. The staff couldn’t give us any explanations about it.

First of all we liked the location, very well positioned in relation to the beaches, tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. Second, we liked the staff, very friendly and ready to help anytime. Maximum respect for the cleaning ladies. Breakfast, even though limited at times, is well cooked, fresh food, clean dishes and cutlery. We have nothing that didn’t please us. What I would add is just a small table on the balcony and perhaps a better method against bedbugs; otherwise everything was great.
