The hotel is very beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms, stunning views from the many terraces, the hotel bar, and the restaurant; dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and the buffet breakfast was also excellent.

The location is beautiful, but if I were super critical, the TV in the room was very small – though we didn’t stay to watch it.

The location is great for watching the balloons, and we enjoyed lunch and dinner at the restaurant; it was helpful that some staff knew about gluten and were very accommodating, and they were kind when carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. However, being a cave room, there were a few unexpected issues for such an expensive hotel: the tap was leaking, there was a bad smell from the bath drain, and the toilet bin didn’t work. When reported, the staff fixed what they could, but the room was a bit stuffy and the air‑con didn’t do much.

The staff were very welcoming, especially the owner, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is excellent, but you could easily get lost on the property.
